Huge props for coming up with the name. Had never heard of this thing before, but I love it. Can’t wait to throw an image at it and see what I get out of it. Ahhh…

After something like a year of waiting for maturity to strike, I finally took the plunge and moved this site to Joomla 1.5. The key element that had been missing was a 1.5 native JCE Editor (can’t live without it), and since it’s now out, it was time to switch. Migrating? What a monumental pain…
Something of an eye-opener, this. One of the referenced stories from the Guardian is, perhaps, a little over the top, but certainly does raise some questions re. the purpose of Facebook and the danger inherent in empowering those who want the world to work that way.

Several of my clients use Adobe Contribute (formerly known as Macromedia Contribute etc. etc.). And, well, how do I put this nicely? It sucks. Gloriously. Both from an end-user standpoint as well as from an admin’s standpoint. Just ran into a serious glitch where a previous geek overlord had set an administrator password but omitted…
The “land of the free” where the 1st amendment protects free speech and all that now appears to finally have caught up with our role models in China. And, after almost eight years of the Bush administration chipping away at the Constitution, we’re now the kind of place where a judge can order a website…
