I am incredibly proud these days to be represented in the U.S. Senate by not only by Bernie Sanders, but also Senator Patrick Leahy. His untiring crusade against all things nasty and Republican (ah, but I repeat myself) is so desperately needed, and his willingness to call “bullshit” on creatures of the dark like Dear Leader’s very own gollum, Alberto Gonzales, is simply priceless.
I had never before heard of Leahy’s penchant for all things Batman, but I think it’s excellent. And even if he doesn’t have a bat cave and a nifty alter ego, I’m perfectly content with the good he’s doing in his guise as Bruce Wayne look-alike.
